you know though i feel the evo-8 is faster i would rather have a supratt cause i would modify, and dollar for dollar i believe the supra has more potential, hell i've heard of soo many 800hp supra and even lots more than that.

im not sure of this, but from the supras design, and rwd, i feel that its a better track car than the evo. i think that the evos just tuned better from the factory. for 1/4 mile, i think the supra is faster with slicks, but for street with street tires, i think the evo has the advantage. for overall tuning, i feel that the supras the better car, but the evo comes from the factory better balanced.

in real track and equal drivers evo beats supra in 0-400m
and also R34 skyline. In car&drv i read that an evo 6 is faster 0.1 sec in 0-100kmh and at 1000m is faster than r34 vspec a whole second make your estimations with supra. Also compare the weight of each car and thats a thing that always slips our minds. |

Re: evo vs. supra
As has been mentioned earlier, it depends on exactly what you're going to do with the car. If you aren't going to modify it at all, the EVO is probably the better pick. If you're modding for power, the Supra has bigger gains for less money than the EVO. On a road course, the two biggest problems the Supra has are brakes and weight. In this case, it will take more money and more mods to make the Supra TT faster than an EVO on a road course.
