Where from Pennsylvania do you live? I've been at the Chi Chi's that (they say) started the whole Hepatitis outbreak, but I haven't been there in years... luckily. Yeah, Taco Hell isn't the greatest either.

That's odd. My brother has eaten both TexMex (Texas mexican food) and SoCal Mexican Food and says that they don't even compare. (read: TexMex is horrible)

Maybe he just has bad taste.

yo supercar man, where in pa you from? we have a chi chi's , but our taco bell closed down...

in my opinion, taco bell is better than chi chi's. For the money you pay at chi chi's, I do not think the food is much better.

I can be full at taco bell for 4 bucks

To each his own I guess. But I've known people who have come from other areas of the U.S. and absolutely love TexMex. It's been years and years since I've been to SoCal and eaten the SoCal Mexican food but can't really remember much of a difference. He also may have eaten at a not so great restaraunt or mistaken authentic Mexican food for TexMex.

Re: Mexican fast food(California).

"Call me ignorant but I was under the impression fast food resturants could not hold liquoir lisecenes, due too the fast they are infact "fast food", doesn't that allow for people too get liquor too go? which is also illegal......"

Los Tacos, a local Kern county chain, serves beer by the bottle. I don't know if they give it in the drive-thru, but you can get it at the counter and take it with you. They also have awesome food and it's pretty cheap too. The 2+2 combo has 2 big burritos and 2 chicken or beef soft tacos for $2.92 out the door, along with a self serve fresh salsa bar. I eat there all the time. One good thing about Cali, the food here kicks ass for the most part. Any of you ever hear of the In-N-Out restaurant chain? If you ever hit California, try it. Trust me you'll love it.

Re: Mexican fast food(California).

The key to getting good Mexican food (in ca at least) finds the smallest crappy dirtiest looking place. They always have the best Mexican food. Just don’t take a date there. And dont get pissed if you get sick.
