Honestly, Eugene, does the 55' look painted to you, besides the flat black top, and hood scoop?

It looks kind of like it was molded like that, but in some pics it looks like it was painted. Why do you ask?

Well, the body was done so damn perfectly, it didn't even need to be clearcoated! So, this might spark your interest if you wanted yours black, you wouldn't have to paint it.

Re: CSM 55' Chevy and 64' Dodge 330

I was thinking maybe black with some cool flames and stuff. I don't know what I'm going to do. I still have 13 other kits to finish though.

Re: CSM 55' Chevy and 64' Dodge 330

Yeah, I keep getting new kits, and I open them, and I start the motor, or the interior or something, then I get another, and just move on. I told my mom and dad not to buy me any more kits till I finish them all.
Lets see, I have:
35th Camaro
2 Mini Coopers
Chevy Corvette Convertable
Chevy Silverado w/ Mike's lift kit thing
69 Camaro
70 Chevelle
Grand Prix GTP
Dodge Ram
Some newer Camaro that has paints and is moled in orange
Chevy Impala
Chevy Nomad
Chevy Stepside truck thing

damn. Man, slow down, but I find if you work on bits and pieces of kits, you finish them all together within 1 day, cause you've done what you can with 1, and move onto the other, I've done it, it's addictive.

Yeah. Its seems to help me build faster. You paint one car, then while that ones drying, you go on to another and then work on that.
