I've heard the best but most damaging way to launch a manual is to have the ebrake up while in 1st gear, have the clutch half way out while revving to about 4k-5k rpms, and when the light turns yellow/green release the brake and let off the clutch/slam the gas.

me too. oh by the way i remembered seeing someone say how my RPM's wouldn't be able to drop that much between shifts... we'll that was just my daily driving practicly. I find myself when i'm racing shifting so fast i acctuly kinda grind the gear when i pop it in.

I was trying to prove to my friend that I could chirp second on my Accord ( when I had on stock tires), but of course it was impossible once he added an extra 200lbs. I dont even try to chirp second with the new tires (Falken Zeix's).
