Re: Traction Conrol light On

Did any of you guys who had the Traction Control light come on have the speedometer start jumping at the same time? If it is indeed a wheel speed sensor causing my light to come on, could the speedometer be affected as well? My tach & speedometer both started jumping and my Traction Control light started coming on around the same time. I have a '98 with 80,000 mi.

I think it was Dmorlow's post that "active" was the key word. My "traction off " light is on (orange) So the system will work when its necessary and then the button will POP-UP (near the shifter). My "traction off" light is always on. If I run into any ice or when the system decides to activate I'll post here with info.
