LOL, Steel's story reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine, a hardcore stoner (but besides that he's a great guy). He had a whole bunch of bongs and things in his room, he wakes up one morning, puts everything away and hears a knock on his door. Opens it and sees it's a police officer. Nearly wets himself, but it turns out she was there asking about the neighbours car being stolen, and if he heard anything...

Maybe the cops knew about the weed and had to figure out a way to open your friends door so they could bust him, and had no other way then to make up a story of the neibhor's car bieng stolen, just so they could have reason to knock on your buddies dor.
