The only problem I had was the taillights. I had to widen the slots on the body for them to fit. Also, the hood that came with the kit was pitted pretty badly out of the box.

I'm not sure what 'pitted' means, can you explain this to me?

It was like someone dug little pieces of the hood out with a knife.

Re: Pro Touring '69 Camaro SS progress...

Looks nice, i'm not a fan of the rims really or the stance but it still looks really nice. I'm currently building a few camaros seeing as how i have a 69 camaro back home. One of the ones i'm building is a pro-touring car. It's going to be a 69 baldwin motion car black with white stripe. not sure on rims yet but it has a late model camaro interior with a ls1 and 6 speed. Rims might come off a z06 or the likes. Nice job on the car and thanks for keeping the muscle scene alive.

William
I'm building a pro-touring camaro model because i dont have the funds to make my 1:1 camaro one yet!

Re: Pro Touring '69 Camaro SS progress...

Thanks, i'm trying to find a way to fit z06 rims on my real car but i dont wanna use a thick spacer. Probably will upgrade rearend with a wider one and a better one than the 8.2 10 bolt and upgrade the front brakes with a c5 conversion then maybe it wont be so hard. But that's later on! I'll see how it looks on a model first.
