Re: so who here has a business in the auto industry

I have been in the car audio business for 15 years. Everything from installer to store manager and owner. Currently I own a business doing fabrication of all sorts. Mostly in car and home audio but also with performance. I have a 1500 sq ft shop in my backyard with around 300,000.00 invested in tooling. I really love those tools.

I tried to check out your URL but the address is not working... Maybe a typo?

Cool The little things count

I run a small restoration shop with my father-in-law. The biggest obstacle we have to hurdle is the balance between quality and price. If it were up to us we would build every car as if it were a Show Car, but that is far more quality than the average customer can afford. What we attempt to do is offer the customer better than what they expect for a fair price.

Attention to detail is the key. Even if you run a repair shop take a minute or two to wash the windshield, put air in the tires, vacuum the carpet, ect. It will pay of in the long run.
