Prob with.... I'm must be gettin old cause I'm gonna say this is.... "Kids these days" lol are that they take it too seriously. Racing was started and is still all about fun. If it's not fun then why the hell are you doing it? Wether you win or lose you had fun because your racing. Just like anything there is always going to be some1 better/faster it's life.

what annoys is when street racers show off there fancy rice and then they either get beaten or get caught by the cops or blow there blocks for revving sometimes.

I'm gonna have to agree with cvcc wagon, the "street scene" in Port Kells B.C. really sucks ass. Just a ton of stupid kids with slow cars. However, I once saw a Skyline GT-R there, so that was pretty cool.

I hate it when dumbfucks come up and talk shit but don't back it up.
I hate these dumb import kids who show up to watch and claim to be racers, but never race. I hate having to deal w/ a line of cars following the cars out to the spot like it was a Shriner's Parade. I hate being at a spot for less than 15 minutes before a bunch of Honduhs and Cavaqueers show up and ruin it. I REALLY hate people who claim to be in the know about the local racing and have no idea what's going on. Recap: Poser, ricers, slow gay cars and idiot kids in imports all suck. |

Okay, I hate how half the guys in MkIV Supras KNOW they have a 800-1000hp car? Never been to a dyno or on the strip, but they may as well have a jet engine strapped to their roof to hear them tell it.
Yes, there are street Supras out there with that much power, but if my asking you how you got there ticks you off then you probably do not own of them. Also, if you are still running stock turbos then you are not making that kinda power either....this seems to blow a lot of younger MkIV owners away. Do not get me wrong as one of my best friends is a Supra guy and has an awesome MkIII. But, those guys even get on his nerves. Also, if you do not like the 03 cobra that is cool. But every Civic and Integra I run into has outrun a blown Cobra or at least a new GT to hear the owners tell it. If you are gonna talk smack at least talk INFORMED smack. |

Okay, What annoys me about guys at the races I go to?
I hate the people who buy a Toyota Corolla (ETC), go to Wal-Mart buy all the accessories and think it's fast. Then have the nerve to make fun of my car which I have not had the time to paint (still primer gray) as I have spent the last year doing things like, precision balancing my engine (I got it to turn over 9000rpm safely), changing compression ratios so my turbo can run a couple more pounds of boost, changing my connecting rod ratios and piston deck heights to make my engine a little bit more over squared. Not to mention the suspension modifications, which include a custom alignment and lowering job done myself. It all comes down to the fact that most people have no idea the kind of blood, sweet, tears, thought, and money that go into making a fast car. At most places I go you would be hard pressed to find one person that understands the mechanics or dynamics of a vehicle. I am so sick of people equating shinny blinking lights and large tail pipes as fast. I hate the kids who go and spend tones of money every time they want their car to go faster. Instead of using there own ideas to custom fabricate a new unique idea. By far the thing I hate the most is dumb kids who don't know when and when not to race, giving kids like me a bad name. |

*1998 Ford Contour Sport V6, modded. Driven into the ground daily, just turned over 100k @ 100 mph. Most fun car I've ever owned, and that says a lot (especially for a Ford)!

Hey cvcc wagon, finally, good to see someone who knows my area here. Yea I've been to the Port Kells streets quite a few times, but it's more people sitting in a parking lot, looking at each others cars now, than actual racing. It's like a car show, with shitty cars. There are some good street races up near Fort Langley sometimes, on and around river road. Some pretty quick cars up there. For the most part though Port Kells isn't worth it.
I moved out to Whiterock about 2 years ago though, any of you guys know if any racing goes on around here? There used to be some great ones around Stokes pit, if you know where that is. Unfortunately I've been having some trouble finding anything out here.
