Let's get something straight guys. Toyota is NOT re-releasing the supra, at least not this year or next year. And nothing will change my mind (yes, not even the amazing selection of concept-ish photoshop jobs) except a press release or advertising campaign from Toyota. I have trouble, however, believing that they could improve the styling of the MKIV supra, and keep it at a decent price point. And they're not going to just drop the inline-6, as it is inherently smoother and torque-ier than a V6. So what's left? The turbos installed on the cars made for a good balance of high-end power and acceleration, so they can't really do much of an upgrade unless they decide they'd rather lean towards one more than the other. I think they'll leave the supra how it is - a legacy.
It is, without a doubt, the best vehicle toyota has ever released, and among the best japanese sport compacts ever built.

HEY NOW....someone said that the new Jap cars are ugly. I just gotta say that the new Silvias are nice as hell lookin alot nicer then the old school silvia. RX8 hasnt been brought back its the first generation of rx8.

well i remember last year when this whole fuss started, first there was a new high end supra that was comin. then one to compete with the nissan 350z . . then a super car. then there was a v10. and a v12. that was supposed to be a converted IS I6 engine into a v6 and doubled.

well just go to www.toyota.com there u will find links of scion, and toyotas future cars and concepts, there u will see one of the drawins u have been seeing alive there, it is a hybrid supercar. and yes i think the are going to do it. becase most of the concepts on that cite have already been approved. but who in the hell is going to buy it. unless the toyota badge will keep it nicly priced. i just dont kno. . .



what about the rumored convertable IS 430 , and the LS 500. . .

the supra . . . i dont know. but the hybrid i would say yes. and damn what will accura do ? what will ferrari do? even lambo u cant have a mid priced mas production car stealling ur high end exotic buisness. when a V6 or V8 hybrib enegine is producing 400hp and 0 -60 in 4.5 whoa boy. . . the exotics got some work to do.
