yeah people have alot of different tastes, myself for example: i have aa 90 dx hatch, this winter i will be getting a gsr drivetrin swapped in(i know it sa bitch but it has to be done) im KEEPING the 13" black steelies on the car becaus i think theyre dope, slick flat black paint, the stock bumper from japan(wrap around lights-amber) black projecters with amber corners, amber fender lights to duplicate jdm bumpers and solid red taillights, i cut the springs 1 coil up from half way, i like how it looks now the black primer look but i think it will just be a little prettier with slick black paint, also i will be keeping a stock gsr exhaust becaus i really hate loud exhausts(not to mention body kits and altezas and big rims)

im working on getting a 95 hatch right now also, since my 90 is stripped(not even a heater core or dash afte ri go though emmisions) the 95 will jsut be somewhat honda luxury, 2000 gsr leather, gsr twisties the drivetrain and ill be traiding my freind the 2000 front end for his 95 type r integra for his front end and i will put that front end on my car, againa stock gsr exhaust and slammed on the ground,

dif people like dif stuff, i like sleeper type badass "ricers" but you seem like the kind of guy who likes body kits and rumbly exhausts, go for whatever you want but just be prepared to get your ass handed to you when your ace some people, i dont want to say negatice things but everyones ideal car is dif

dude pedals are pedals, i have the ractive carbon fiber pedals and i love um to death, i cant stand to drive a car with small pedals (size 13 1/2 shoe) so i need the pedals.

and being a 4dr driver dont get any body kits, just keep your plans like they are.

question of my own what are the best brand gauges (oil pressure, volts meter)

do what you want to do...whatever makes you happy. i know a couple of fast cars WITH painted interior. last time i checked...paint DIDN'T add weight but the engine swap under the hood DID add hp.

we got jer's si at an auction. the previous owner painted the interior red. it bugged him at first. but now that there is a b16 with some other good stuff under the hood he could care less. go ahead and laugh...but only if you have a b16 or better and deserve the right to laugh

I don't care how fast the car is, spray painted interior is the nastiest shit. Its so ghetto. Its getting up there with the uniwiper.

And on the pedal issue.. My stock rubber pedals were popping off all the time, so sometimes I'd go to use the clutch and it was just metal, and my foot was slipping off. So I got some POS Ractive pedals that have mesh on them. FUCK. Now, whenever my foot is wet I can go to push the clutch in and my foot just flys off!
I need to get something with real rubber in them. Like Sparco, or Momo.
Just something to consider when buying cheap shit.

I personaly think the only way to make a 4g4d cool is to go rear wheel drive with a blown 502 that perches menacingly out of the engine bay... But hey, thats just my opinion.

you can have your opinion all you want but you have no right to call a car "ghetto" that runs faster than you.

actually, i would love to see that because if i were that person i would look in the direction of your car and laugh. that's the pot calling the kettle black right there. last i checked you're car wasn't exactly straight and could very easily be viewed as "ghetto". i would welcome you to the track. that way you can get spanked by a "rice ghetto car"

then what is your reply going to be? "oh yea...well at least my slow car doesn't have painted interior"....oh wait. you'll be too slow to catch up to say that!

What? If the car is ghetto, it just is, that doesn't have anything to do with it.

A friend of mine has a B16 powered CRX drag car that runs mid 12s, but its ghetto as fuck. Lexan windows that he made himself, no sid impact beams (he sawed them out), custom solid rear suspension, welded differential.. Its huge ghetto no matter how you look at it, but its sickeningly fast for what it has done to it.

and you missed my point. if a car is faster than you then you really have no room to talk smack about it. including painted interior.

okay, how about i put it like this. in SiZ world all that matters is speed. a car is faster than yours. smokes you on the track. it has painted interior so you call it ghetto. that ghetto just smoked you. isn't that like pissing in the wind.

again, not attacking your car but for example purpose...there are things on your car that can be considered to another person ghetto.

i'm just saying. i don't see how you can say anything about a car with say interior paint. you might not personally like it but it doesn't mean you have to turn your nose up on it.

i say if your car is fast and you made it that way you get respect no matter what it looks like or what it is

example: went to the races there was a muliti colored primered crx with a focuz altezza tailight conversion and a custom wide body on the back, and it said "ballin on a budget" on the back flat window so a race was set up so we went out to the spot not knowing what was racing it turned out to be him and a slightly modded ws6 in the end he spanked the TA 2-3 cars all motor he got some respect from me after seing that sure it looks ugly and slow but it really wasent......talk about a sleeper
