OK, so I started out like so many people do by going and buying a car that was fast out of the box. I got a 95 eclipse gs-t that was quick, but I paid so much every month in insurance and crap that I couldn't afford anything but a set of springs for it, and did some manual boost controlling. The car was cool, but I soon learned that I wanted to get something I could afford to mod, and got a 5th gen. That car was less spendy, but I still didn't have any money to mod it, so I sold that one, took the 800 I had left over and bought the 4th gen and a ZC. That's my story, screwed up, screwed up, screwed up, finally got it right. Then I started learning... Prolly don't know anhything yet!
