How 'bout white with a pink pearl? Or a light silver with a pink pearl?

A buddy of mine had an old VW bug that he painted white with a green pearl. It was sweet because you could only see the green if the light was hitting the car just right - especially with all the curves of a bug...

Just an idea...

Re: yellow or pink??

My CRX is red, I was going to put a heavy orange or pink mettalic pearl over it, it would look good.

Re: yellow or pink??

Taran, let's be honest with ourselves. If you did the car some off the hook color, you'd still have to A: spend a bajillion dollars trying to get it all to look good and not have a bunch of clashy yellow chunks showing whenever you pop the hood, hatch, or doors, or B: have a bunch of clashy yellow chunks showing whenever you pop the hood, hatch, or doors. Therefore, I say do a variant of the stock yellow that you already have... You could get away with some sort of pearled yellow, or a little different shade, to get away from stock a little, but don't do something you'll regret.

Let's take my crx for example. I bought it from this kid, who had it painted a nice looking shade of charcoal gray with a clear pearl coat. It looks nice, that is, until I open the hood etc. and you see the faded old white that it used to be. It really makes me want to get it painted back white. I won't ever be proud to show it with the hood up, I don't think... and that's a real downer. Plus, if you are having your grandmom do it for you, do you really think she'll go for a $5500 paint job? Not likely, at least, not in my family, but maybe if you're big sister is paris hilton!! lol! but then again, that is just me and my overly-realistic outlook on things...

btw slave, I love your avatar!

ya i agree with 4gzchatch i think you should do a off yellow than your CRX is now so you can get away with the yellow under the hood in the car in the door jams etc... and still look nice...the S2000 yellow does not look bad or that C5 but if grammy is paying for EVERYTHING then GO FOR IT! but i say blue i love blue i got my last car painted Partiot Blue which is like a metalic navy blue its nice just my
