I have the same problem with the rear brakes squeeking on my Golf TDi150 at low speed - parking or reversing. Is this a common problem on the Golf? I tried to get the dealer to fix it under warranty, but he said that it wasn't covered as the brakes are a wear part!!!!

yea, brakes sqeekin' is a common problem on the Golfs

Yo man you shouldn't get it at allllll!!!! ahhh 1.8t for that kinda money yeah right. If you buy yourself a 1999 drivers edition mk3 gti vr6 youl like it so much more im tellin ya. Its got the bucket seats n everything and a much nicer euro fell n sound to it. And if you turbo charge it(and its easier to find a good kit for the vr6 than most people think) youl be runing 11's im tellin ya man
