remember that if it has a lot of curves
it's gonna suck
so u should get one that has at most 50 degrees of curvature.

Had my new 2003 Tiburon GT 6 Speed to 135 twice and both times had to slow down due to a car switching lanes ahead. I only have a K&N Air Filter Mod. There is no governor limitation on the Tiburon but would more than likely max out around 140. It still wanted to climb at 135 but I never got to see. From 115 on up in 6th gear is a slow climb. With plenty level road I would bet it would kiss 140.

Took my Tib from Ft Campbell, KY to Ft Benning, GA (420 Miles) and got 410 miles on a full tank of gas. I filled up and topped it off with 14.7 gallons. You do the math on the mileage

0-60- Hyundai says 7'ish. with my 1 only mod I may get low 7 or very high 6's depending on burn out and red lineing.

But I can guarantee the 6 cylinder mustang cannot touch the tiburon. This race was fairly easy for me. Off the line the Tiburon took a hunk out of the mustang big enough to bait a bear trap. Another test (kick down at 40 MPH) Tiburon made the stang look like it was sitting still.

Civic SI- Quick car but No match for the Tiburon. They run good, but they lack a little on the Tiburon.

Focus SVT- Pretty even race all through. If the SVT Focus you wanna pick on has a mod and you don't, your in trouble.

Dodge Neon SRT4- Do not even attempt to mess with this animal. I haven't and won't. I don't like to lose and this is a sure loss. Dodge Neon SRT4 14:20 in a quarter at 103 MPH. Top speed of 155, you do not mess with this type of work. *NOTE* This is all in a 4 cylinder.

All in all- If you have purchased a Tiburon you have a really quick car for the money. A few mods and you can probably assure yourself that you wont lose often. They are sporty and very sharp. Rides a little rough but if your into sport cars then thats a price you pay.

not nos...NITROUS. "nos" is a stupid ricer term, so please refrain from saying it.

does your friend participate on the forums at all? cause no tib will go that fast. gears arent set up properly. you would have to hit about 10k+ rpms, and thats NOT happening. top speed is all about raising the rpms your engine can handle.

Actualy from what I heard they put his car on one of thoes RPM testers then calculated the RPM into speed. And as for him partisapating in the fouroms..that I don't know.
