the original 2.4 came was originally made in mexico and has been troughly redesigned for the turbo PT cruiser and the srt4

and its made in the USA...if you would like some pictures i recomend the SCC a few months back when they went to the actual factory factory

listen smart asses.... if u knew nething about this half ass econo car that u guys admire so much more than the 350z you would know that mercedes is now making half of the stuff for dodge and nissan. that new van for dodge... mercedes motor... the srt4.... mercedes motor... that new chrysler crossfire is a mercedes slk and has the motor from one of the C class mercedes... if u guys actually knew what u were talkin about i wouldnt have 2 write a post on here to make u feel like dumbasses...o and as far as that srt4 goes, that car has a rediculous amount of freakin problems. the 350 has none, no one can name sumthing that goes wrong wit the 350, as for the srt4 it has engine problems, turbo timing problems, break problems, clutch and trannny problems, the car is an american car... you cant expect much more, thats why its so cheap

funny i dont feel any different now then i did before i wrote what i wrote. people on here says that there 350z has tranny problems.

can you explain how can you can write since you obviously cannot read???

the srt4 doesn't use a mercedes engine....and btw the rest of your post is as biased and uninformed as i've seen

I don't know why people find it so hard to believe that its an american engine made by chrysler

The new crossfire engine is made by Mercedes from what I believe (nothing to back this up off hand) but that’s a new thing. The SRT is not Mercedes, if you can prove otherwise I will say I’m wrong. But the 350z still looks better, drives better and is NA so much more reliable and still (around the same power)* If it was as light as an econobox it would be just as fast. I never liked the looks of the neon so adding a overpowered, overworked engine it is will not make me buy one. But I do give props to Dodge for the car, only if it wasn’t so dang ugly.
