I do not like flames though, too expensive and/or hard to do. Plus IMO they don't look all that hot to me.

Guess I'll keep it red for now y'all convinced me.

Hhmmm, do you even know what a "ghost" flame is ?

At the My Classic Car show around here I saw a red Firebird (with a Vortech charger that ran 12s but that's beside the point) with the coolest ghost flames I have ever seen. They were done in gold, and you could not even see a hint of the flames unless you looked at it just right. I didn't even see 'em until the sun hit it at a certain angle and the gold caught my eye. Even then you couldn't see all the flames. Very cool *thumbsup*

So my suggestion is to either keep it plain red, do some ghost flames, or put a pearl over it.

ok, I guess not, I just thought it was a color for flames. I have only a vaugue idea of a ghost flame after delsolguy's post, and not the slightest of a pearl over or whatever it is.

A buddy of mine up at the university got his CRX painted recently... used a shade of red very similar to milano red, but he also used a clearcoat that had been mixed with some orange... If you look at most cars in sunlight, they reflect some of the blue from the sky and look an off-color. With the orange'd clearcoat, the ONLY color this car reflected was more red. It looked red and redder and red and damn it was bright... No matter where you looked at it from, no matter what lighting, everything nearby just shined red... I'm tellin' ya, it looked good

Alright whatever I don't like any of them so I say none of them. They all look ugly. This is my opinion so don't get angry at me. About the flames... hm... well for me when flames or stripes come to mind I think of domestic cars like ford or chevy. When imports come to mind I think of a wing and some stickers. I think this is the way it should be. Cause u don't domesticate a import and vise versa. This is just my opinion...
