Most LS1's are underrated. Any C5 should be making around 350 hp, or around 305-315 at the wheels. I've not done anything big to my car hp-wise, and I'm at 307 rwhp, or 353 flywheel horsepower assuming a 15% drivetrain loss due to the manual transmission.

Ok to clear a bit up.

After the C5 was properly tuned it made 289kw or 387hp at the wheels. My GTR makes now 266kw or 356hp at the wheels. The C5 isn't lighter, or if it is it would be sweet F/A. Both cars would have to be around the 3,200 lb mark. So given it has a much less drag co-effiecent than my GTR at the top end he would pull away, less wind resistance. How ever in saying that I would take him in a 1/4 drag race as I would make up for that 30hp difference with the launch advantage.
I am normally in the high 1.6's 60 foot time and have run a flat 12. That was also before my intercooler change and last tuning.

It would be very close from a rolling start of say 100km or 62mph to say 240km or 149mph.
