whatever you do get a kit before you lower your car.. cause i got my kit and thank god i didnt lower my car first or i wouldnt make it over speed bumps
 .. i like vis kits.. but i like the 5th gens to be somewhat simplistic... WW has a kick ass kit for the 5th gen!! it is the blue lude pic!! go there and see... www.wingswest.com

how bout no kit?
i like the way the 5gen looks w/o one... and you have more of a touring car look if you put a nice front end (not a wildass big mouth style one) i just think that it would be DIFFERENT to not have one, since everyone does... i like the sleeper look my 3gen looks all stock, but smoother... that is what i like, but i know that there is only one good kit for it, and it is like 1500... i guess that is why i dont have it...

I agree with flylwsi. Why mess with perfection. The 5th gen 'ludes look so sweet. I would keep the whole thing stock on the exterior. I'd even debate whether or not to put an new exaust system on it, they just look so good.

I love this kit, Black Widow 1 ! it looks so good on civics & prelude
  if they kept the original hood, it would have looked alot better.. i hate this hood...    yumm... look at that ass

factory kit is all im gonna use on my lude.
 it's clean, perfect fit, perfect color match. (doh, iz factory). mine's lowered and has SSR integrals on. very sharp.

Ok there djmotive8, you've got a prelude turned into a major hybrid. The side vents just behind the doors- stolen from the new mustangs. The hood vents- firebird vents ripoff. The rear decklid spoiler- a stretch, but it looks like the crappy tack-on spoilers the 80's camaros (I think) have, and the rest, it can be classified under rice. That, my little rice loving car buddy, is a major mistake, you have messed with perfection.

i definantly have to cast my vote for the OEM kit. I like the wings west rs also, but i dont like how low it hangs

I'm trying to find pics..but if I remember right the mugen sides and rear are slightly different than the oem kit...like they hang a little lower or something....I'd like Mugen sides and rear and OEM front lip....but thats jus me.
