It's a non-turbo. No raised vents, small tail pipes. I'm not a fan of the veilside/shogun kits. The 2000gt is perhaps the best kit made for the 2.

yea i also love sleepers but i think that its pretty tight. only thing is that it better be just as fast as it looks. also the front end looks kinda plain, you need a CF hood

Sleepers rule! That way the cops dont bug you, and you use the money you saved on body kits and stereos for suspension and engine mods. When I get a car, it is being gutted and made fast, to hell with appearances!! (And then you will have to stare at my ugle ass all day):ylsuper

Hehehe... It looks just like my friend's MR2... same exact car, same exact color, and same kit. Except... the hood and scoop and no turbo.
It's not bad! I like it anyway!

It's a little rice, but it does look nice. No problems here with some creative expression.

Personally I don't care for it too much. The "shogun" look is way played out. It belongs on a Civic, not an MR2. He should've spent less money on that crappy kit and stereo and more on performance mods. The rims do look kinda nice though. Not too much BLING! BLING! and they're a simple 5spoke design. I do dig the air scoop and trunk/hood scoop though. They're relatively functional and look a bit more race than rice. There's a guy around here with a snorkel on either side plus the center scoop. He has some kind of simple kit on it too and nice rims so it looks pretty good. Plus it's a turbo (upgraded to a TD04 I think) and it can move pretty good. I don't know how it handles though he might just have springs on it

yea your right the shogun kit doesnt look right on the mr2. I favor the trd wide body on it but thats the owners choice. HE should put one more scoop on the other side to put more spice on the car and i still think he needs that tail light conversion but the car still looks nice

How much did it cost to do all of that to his car(minus the rims). I want to know how much it costed for the kit, the wing, the intake and the hood. That is if you don't mind.

Yeah the TRD 2000GT is definately my fave Mr. 2 kit. It's a wee bit boxy, but looks pretty aggressive. Just needs some wide wheels and fat rubber and it's good to go :sun:

Re: Picture of my boys MR2

My comments: (Trying to be contructive)

1. TRD MR2? Why not the TRD Widebody kit & wing instead of that look? Its 1000 times better looking IMO and is actually functional.

2. Hood fitment (obvious)

3. The wheels, while still nice, dont go with the kit, ride height or color. I'd suggest an inch larger in not chrome.

4. The tails, get the 94+...

5. Engine vent lid - Thats up for opinion but I kinda like it...
