Hey all... I figured it out... its true that you cant figure it out until it fails all the way... would not start all day, and it turns out it was the eec power relay under the hood on the drivers side... its right there in your face when you open the hood... I tapped on the relays while the od light was on and it went out and the motor started.. went to the store paid 10 bucks for a replacement relay and all is good....

Thanks for all the input on this topic.

Damn It !!
Every time I suggest those damn relays be checked, I get negative feedback...
So I don't suggest that solution much anymore...

Yet, I carry two spares with me at all times. !!

Good work Kool, and thanks for the posts

Re: Trouble Starting '95 Towncar

Thanks so much for all this information guys. My grandmother's 94 TC has the same exact problem. I plan to return next week and replace the EEC power relay, and also the Fuel pump relay just to make sure.

Thanks again!! Expect it repaired unless otherwise posted.

Re: Trouble Starting '95 Towncar

Checking and having spare relays is always a smart idea.
