Rich, you go to school in North Dakota?? Where at? Just curious because I'm in Grand Forks (UND).

Basketball and singing are my passions.... I used to study martial arts (Tai Chi - the martial art, NOT the therapeutic art) and draw a lot, but I'm trying to devote a lot of my energy towards getting a record contract somewhere.:alien2:

so many different things i enjoy doing from time to time...

- Martial Arts. been doing it for over 17 years now, jun fan, kali, wing tsun, karate, aikido, jiujitsu, kendo, tae kwon do, muy thai, and even some american boxing.

- Ballet. dont laugh. it helps the martial arts skills. my girlfriend is still wiggin from finding out i have been in ballet for 8 years now.

- Music. from simply listening to superbit recordings or actually playing. i play a bit of guitar and piano, and mix on my computer.

- Cooking. i love to cook. usually in combination with some good music, from Vanessa Mae's reditions of classics, to Lords of Acid, from Metallica to Dr. Dre, i pretty much listen to it all. as for cooking, i enjoy preparing japanese cuisine for my girlfriend, as she is the epitome of american, and has never experienced most eastern dishes.

- Reading. i hate books, but i'll research topic i may be interested in at the time and read for days about it.

- Writing. from online articles to words never to been seen within my journal... i enjoy writing, and practicing many different styles.

- Tuning. anything that has a motor and wheels... i just like to tear it apart and try to get it back together without any "spare" parts. installing new parts for the car also adds to a bit of excitement as i get to pamper my other baby

- Racing. active autocross and road racer... autocross develops and fine tunes my skills while road racing allows me to truly put it to practice.

- In depth discussion. i'm the kind of guy who likes to go to the local starbucks and just chat it up with the college kids in there. a bit on my curiosity in sociology and psyche, i like to listen, to talk, and to watch reactions.

- Coffee... nothing beats a good coffee break at Starbucks with a good mag or paper to keep up on current events.

- Movies. Quentin Tarantino flicks. i like to see his representation of everyday conversation within his films. i guess this goes along with my curiousity for psych/sociology

i guess that pretty much sums it up, besides all the crap i enjoy doing with computers.
Damn, you REALLY need to get a life!! Just kidding I think this is the most diverse list of hobbies I've come across yet...everything from ballet to cooking to music to...........damn my life is REALLY boring now :hehehe:

Let's see...

Well, I'm a full-time student and I work two part-time jobs. Now, I realize those aren't necessarily called fun, but they occupy most of my time. When I do get to go out and have fun, I like variety. So...to name a few. I enjoy being outdoors, kayaking, heading to the ocean for the afternoon, quilting, reading, writing (yes SmallTownDiva, I promise I'll write the book!), I dance when no one is looking, laugh a lot, and I enjoy a good late night conversation. You can't forget going downtown and raising a little trouble here and there either. Setting small accidental fires with kitchen appliances has also become an exciting past time as well. Oh, the trouble I can get into.

I like to build models of cars I can't have in real life. (see avatar) Well, I guess I could have them, just not for $30 a pop.

Besides playing around on the computer I like to work on my cars, I like video games, camping, fishing, golf, football, playing pool "billiards," reading, movies, music, theater, I also collect die cast models and certain hot wheels cars.

well in the summer i golf ALOT like 4 times a week so i'm usually at the course for like 6-7 hours a day... go to the driving range, play 18, then chill in the clubhouse.

When it's winter i snowboard alot (which i wish i was doing now!!! but i haven't even seen snow this year yet ) I try to go like 3 times a week
and on weekends i usually go to parties, but if there aren't any than just chill with a bunch of friends and have some beer
