I think the RSX is a great deal, there are so many standard features, like leather, indash 6 CD player with the boss soundsystem
98 Spec ITR weights only 2570 lbs. That's a full 200 lbs less than RSX Type S. On paper ITR still hold the edge but in real life it depends on the driver skill. One thing I don't like is Acura's Richbase Sounds system found on Type S. There is virtually no bass unless you turn up the volume big time.

Ok i dont know if you guys have seen the Concept-R but thats suposedly cranking close to 500 hp, and the Greddy turbo is also supposed to be in the 300's hp.....Dump the old, and get with the new
There have been B Series engines running 400 hp all motor for the past 10 years now.

F20C, that's what i meant that they're pretty even... it depends on the driver if the 2 were to race stock

I doubt this, don't underestimate the ITR, here's SCC's findings on the comarison of RSX Type s/GSR/ITR. Iv'e never driven the Type s but my roomate from last year has a 98 ITR and that car is very quick.

From SCC:
The stronger torque band of the larger engine is especially obvious from a standing start. Launching at just 2400 rpm has the tires complaining all the way through first gear. We had the time to pull off a few preliminary acceleration and braking runs in our brief time with the car. Though there was no room for a full quarter mile, and our tests were run on a very slight slope, the average of the best uphill and the best downhill run netted a 0-60 time of 7.1 seconds. Faster than the 7.6 of the last GS-R we tested, but still short of the best times we've run with a Type R (as good as 6.1 seconds, but usually around 6.5). Traction did seem to be very limited, however, and this may have had a serious effect on times. Our measured 60 to 0 braking distance, for example, was a very long 145 feet, despite the fact that the brakes felt unusually strong on the track. We are looking forward to more extensive testing on more familiar ground.

Like they said, traction may play a part, and i'm sure a good driver in an rsx will beat a lesser driver in an ITR, but i'd still put my money on the ITR stock vs. stock

Yea the stock tires are crap on the type S.....
What tires are on the Type R stock?
If you had two drivers of equal driving ability the type R would prob come up on top by the SLIGHTEST margin. But throw some sticky tires on the Type-S and thats a different story.

True, true. The Integra is lightweight + decent horsepower/torque = good car.
But you just might weight a little while for the RSX Type R.
It looks pretty good.
Pretty good performance too.
Go look at some websites on the RSX Type R.
