Whoops my bad... I forgot he mentioned his car weighed in at less than 2000lbs...

Not sure how he got it so light but things are possible.

Sorry boosted331, I goofed.

i believe this is the same post as one that i answered in another subforum .... anyway i did some research in the chevy forum and they all told me that a 85 vette will run a low 15 1/4 mile stock. with a full open exhaust and some other things one guy told me he ran 14.3 with his 85 vette so this guy with a 14.4 should beat a stock 85 vette.

just letting you guys know...

There is a sticker on my vette located in d/s door jamb -
WARNING - For high speed driving(above 150MPH) inflate tire pressures above 32psi

Usually when I take it out everyone that pulls up to me wants to race There a very few times I get on it for that reason, usually let the car get ahead me a couple of car lenghts & nail it! 330HP LT4 6-speed with mild mods no 1/4 mile runs.

All 1996 six-speed Corvettes had the LT4. The A4's had the LT1. This was so Corvette buyers still had incentive to buy, despite the coming of the C5.
