i think skylines (gtr) for the most part have a 10% front and 90% rear split, that changes with the atessa(sp?), but anyway its like saying you can't drift a lancer evolution or an imprezza

Well heres what i know, a freind of mine, he's quite rich, has an R33, i dont have a clue what year it is...its a dark burgundy with a yellow/blue interior...in his car theres a lil gauge when u let out the clutch in 1st gear and let it roll without touching the accel., the gauge needle points to the middle on the left showing all 4 wheels have power....when you mash the accelerator and gear up the needle starts to drop to the bottom showing that the rear wheels have all the power, when you enter a turn at high speed it comes back up to the middle, and when the ass slides out tooo much ( or so he said) the needle points up shwoing the front wheels only have power. I've never witnessed the needl only pointing up...but hey he owns it, i go by what he says.

Yes you can drift a GT-R but its posable to drift any car.

The GT-R is very smart!
It runs off a computer so when you take off and the rear wheels start to spin the car sences this and puts more power to the front wheels. so it will have maximum grip at all times. The same goes with cornering, the car sends the power to whatever wheel it thinks will have the most grip.

Rember the GT-R's are 4 wheel steer too!

Hope this helps.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait, in my opinion....you can't drift FWD, becuase the rear tires need to spin to drift. And are the GT-R's all-wheel steer? Chris' R33 isn't all wheel steer, well I don't think it is.

yea its called hicas, yea anyways this has been getting a little off subject, its just gonna end up being another thread about wether or not a fwd car can drift... but imo any car can drift, you dont need to spin or lock up tires, just push them past their load, you know inertia drift....careful not to break your tofu going up the mountain......

Im 100% sure that the R32,33,34 GT-R's are all 4 wheel steer
I know my brothers R32 GTS-T is also 4 wheel steer too so maby the GTS's are also all wheel steer.

With my dads GT-R we were going to take out the 4WS because we were told it causes more problems than anyhting but in the end we didnt.

Sorry for the offtopic.

I didn't know that they had 4-wheel steering. I knew that they had AWD or whatever though.
Sorry for the off-topic again 454SS

No probs with the off topic, i know there was a 300zx not sure its it was T, TT, or 2+2 that came with 4ws, but i think there was a bracket or bar of some sort you could purchase to remove the rear wheel steering maybe chris has that on his R33 which is a great car, but its only single Turbo

No it came with TT, he's had a massive single one installed. I asked why, he says it spools faster when racing. But it is a GTR, i was just talking to him about it, its currently undergoing a massive paint, rim and interior job, its gona be a light metallic silver, with blue&lite grey interior, and he didn't say which rims.

You should just leave the bumper front bumper off, or make a realistic smash of plastic off a corner, 2 different wheels, duct tape rear bumper, and one front light out, and I'll give it an A+, even if it is 4WS!
