Somone in teh drag racing ring is running a D15 CRX, he's doing 10 second quarter mile times with no nitrous and no turbo...all motor. D15s don't suck, they're just not as good as other engines.

your right my d15 goes 7k before oil chages allways over 40mpg is not a race motor its for ecomany bust it again calling it gay while your chaging your oil twice i'm still cruising and yes someone has gotten one into the 10s damned fast for a lil motor thats while its the not the best motor its sure as hell takes 100s of thousands of miles gets you great gas works without any problems cheap as hell to maintain its a great for what it is just cause its not the fastest you shouldn't make comments to something you don't know about.

Actually, that Eclipse wasn't a turbo model. It was a '95 or '96 RS with I believe a header, intake, & 50-shot nitrous kit. The turbo sound effects were from a turbo Integra.
Also, I read somewhere that the Charger wasn't even a Hemi. Was that correct?

I mean in the first movie how could a 1/4 Mile take like what 10 minutes and how can u pull off a whole bottle of NOS in a 1/4 mile when hes like already 5 minutes in the race.

The F&F moives were horrible incorect but no more sureal than the Terminator movies, Bad Boys, Die Hard, Rambo, etc.
If you go into them not expecting full accuracy, their good popcorn flicks. Sadly, people who are not knowledgable about cars take them as "tuning giudes" so to speak. Thus is born the dumbass-style ricers.

hehe I actually liked 2f2f . yeah , the acting sucked and it was bullshit mostly . But I could watch the yenko camaro clone drive around all day long !!!
