it wouldnt be dangerous in the rain well it shouldnt be because tcs prevents your tires from spinning so aslong as you dont go nuts in the rain tryin to launch hard off any lights or stuff like that you should be fine with it off all of the time

If you're driving on regular roads in regular weather, it doesn't do anything for you. It does make a difference in rain and on dirt roads, though. It's like a 2nd gear start on some cars. The thing is, you won't be racing (hopefully) in rain or snow, etc. and it's easier to remember to turn it ON when you need it than it is to remember to turn it OFF all the time. I've gotten in the habit of turning it off when I start my car, just so I don't forget. Maybe that's too much, just remember to turn it off when you race (like air conditioning).
