if it has zoom chances are pretty good that it has Macro.

The 315 doesn't have macro mode. Take the largest, highest quality picture you can at a distance where the model is actually focused. Then just crop the rest of the picture out using Photoshop or whatever. For example, take the in-focus picture at 2400x2400 and just crop out the car at 800x600.
