Tell me what made you buy such an expensive stang? I want to hear the story because not very many people look to Ford anymore such a high performnce vehicle (most turn to the aforementioned vette/viper) unless they have soem sort of connection. So what's yours?

Killer stang. I think the wheel gaps are fine with those rims in there. Better than my 15s with 60% tire wall.

What exactly are you talking about? The 03 Cobra is the best bang for the buck right now. 420-440fwhp(360-380rwhp) for $33k. And youre looking at 500-600rwhp with just full-exhaust, chip and pullies. So you have clearly an 10/11 second car for less than $40k and can still be covered by warranty

DkShadow is correct.... The cobra is not that bad of a deal... I got mine used with 9K miles on it... But it is still under warranty...

I was going to get a New GT Convertable... But for about 5K more I could get this Cobra... I did not need much time to think about it... My cobra only cost (after all is said and done) $30,500... Which in my mind is not bad for the power you get... As for not getting a viper or a corvette.. well they are in a different price range...the cheapest new corvette is around 44K... and the viper is Starting from $83,795 MSRP... That is almost 3X what I paid... I am almost 25.. Just got out of college... have a good job and am single... This is the only time in my life where I can have a car like this... cause once I get married (unless she is successful and has money) I will have to sell it... And A Cobra has a good resale value...

Oh you really need to improvise your driving skills. Thats GT times. You should be at mid to high 12s... Give it a little more practice and youll be running 12s in no time. Cut those 60'.

Holy wheel spin Batman, a 2.4 sec 60 ft! Forget drag radials, you need slicks!!!! Also you R/T is not that good either, .5 is the best you can get on a Full tree, anything under that and your red lighting. I bet you were waiting till you saw the green before you left. Next time try leaving the lanes on the third yellow light, and don't feel like you have to drop the clutch at such a high rpm to get good times. Just ease into the pedal to get moving, then give it more. That will help a lot!

I know I have only been driving stick for 2 weeks now... It will come with practice

My best R/t that night was .833... but it is the stupid 60' (wheel spin) I am going to try a lower RPM I was releasing at around 3 but I think 2 is better... I am racing again this friday so we will see... (sorry I was making the cobra look so bad) at least there were 3 others with mods doing well one was at around 12.3... (You have to remember this is in Salt Lake High altitude, and it was about 90+ outside...) Not excuseses I suck I know but I just need practice...
