amazing cars the testarossa are. I pulled up behind one at a gas station. man what a day. got to talk to the owner. He traded a nicely restored packard for the testarossa. He said that the maintenance on that beast was hell. 5 years or 5000 miles and you have to get the engine serviced. which involves lifting the car off the engine if i remember correctly and costed a lot. not really a daily driver. but man. when he started that thing i felt it. that many pistons pumping was incredible.

i don't believe you wrote that...i just went to michigan and had to go through ohio to get there and it was hell. at one point we literally couldn't go a minute w/o a pig checking our speed (we had a radar detector). we hated it so much we drove back to pa through canada
