2 things....

There IS an Accord Type R in this country....It goes by the name of the Acura Tsx.

And that car is most likely the fastest of all of those mentioned. Although Im not sure about what kind of power the Svt is bumping.

And the celica all-trac was our version of the Jdm gt4. The other guy was right, they stopped making it in 93 I believe. The newer celica with the dual projector headlights did not offer a turbo model in America.

Also this is a subjective poll, exactly what would the cars be racing? 1/4 mile? 0-60? It really depends. Not one of the cars you mentioned is really THAT fast stock.

Your retarded. The IS no Accord Type-R. Its a Euro-R and its NOT the TSX. The suspension, equipment and drivetrain are different. its also RHD.

The TSX Aint that fast.

This thread is dumb. You get a bunch of cars that are apples and oranges, and try to say "whats the fastest". Im telling you, no one is gonna compare these vehicles, in any way shape or form if they seriosuly wanted to find out whats faster.

Youve got a car thats non-existent in this country, a used rare car, a slow used car, and a bbunch of FWD econo-rods.

Hmm...

Stock on stock, the GT-S would most likely be the fastest DEPENDING on what year... the new ones run a good low to mid 15 in the quarter, whereas the civic Si (new) will run a high 15, the older ones running mid 16's, SVT focus will run a high 15, 240SX will run a good low 16, and the old and new celica GT's will run a mid-low 16, the all-trac a mid 15... As for the SiR, I have no idea, it uses hte H22A which produces about 190HP, and I'm sure the car weights upwards of 3000lbs, so A good mid 15 could be expected... As for the TSX, I believe it is neither the same as the SiR OR euro-R, I was under the impression both of these cars ceased production in 2000?

The old Accord SiR and Type R are differnt cars, the Type R and Euro R are roughly the same car and use a 220hp H22a, the SiR uses an F series with an H22 head on it, and makes about 200hp. I have a mate here in NZ who with a stock standard car ran a low 15 on what is considered a slow track.

The new accord is being made in Two differnt sizes.
The smaller version is being sold as the TSX in the states, and the Euro R in the rest of the world. wether its LHD or RHD its the same damn car. It uses the 200hp engine from the current Integra/RSX Type S/Type R and is really just a 4dr version of that car.
It is fast, and should also run an easy 15. Although being bigger and heavier than cars like the Focus, or the Celica GTS I doubt it will handle as well.
The larger body Accord is being sold with a variety of new engines, including the 2.4L also found in the CRV, and of course a V6 and it fills the tradtional accord spot in the market.

The GT Four version of the Celica was made right up untill the release of the current model, but only the 88-93 model was ever sold in the US badged as the Alltrac.
The new Celica with the VVTi-L engine only comes in FWD, and since Toyota now use the Corrola for thier WRC car there is not-likely to ever be an AWD version, although one of the Millin brothers did put the running gear from the older GT-Four into the newer body shell for a show car.

And of course the Focus comes in a variety of differnt forms depending on where in the world you are, the Europeans are luckey enough to get a very wild Turbo version that Im sure would walk on anything else in that list.

The 240sx is an old and dead design that should not even be there, while which Civic Si are you talking about? The US car is to but it simply slow and under powered, however in Japan and Europe the car is sold with a full 200hp and badged as the Type R making it considerably faster than anything else on the list.

Since the SiR is a JDM car what about the 6th Gen Celica SS3? it puts out 200hp stock and would be faster than all the other cars listed.

Have you ever seen one? Or driven one? or even know someone who ones one?

Its more like 180hp, and the car is so heavy, that its not nearly as fast as you think it is, any of the cars listed above except maybe the 240sx would be faster, and ALL of them would handle better.
