i know this has been asked a lot, but can you list the manufacturers of each piece of your kit, and what the part is called?

Looks sweet Worshp.

But I think you're the devil It just makes me want to do the SiR right up - when I'm trying desperately to resist the urge and keep it stock.

I can't believe you had the paint done so cheap - it would have cost a fortune over here.

Keep up the good work :sun:

Bodykit is:

Online performance front bumper, side skirts and door panels (look exactly the same as the Jetspeed versions)
Rear bumper is a Boom style from Fibremotive

websites are

www.onlineperformance.com.au
www.racingspec.com.au
www.jetspeed.com.au
www.fibremotive.com

Front has been changed to SiR bonnet and headlights

I got John and Jeff @ Racingspec (aka JDM69) to package the lot up for me, and they are great guys to deal with.

Thanks for the props guys....I like keeping you updated with progress, so next lot of photos will hopefully show the exhaust and interior!!!

Welcome to Automotive Forums!

I swapped the facelift bonnet, headlights and tails. All CRX's made after Sept '89 (wherher it be 1.5x, Si etc) came with the SiR style bonnet, and there is no modification to make it fit onto the older shape CRX.

Paint was $4500, but I knew someone...they said it would normally be about $5-7k otherwise.

What do you drive?

i use to drive a white crx si
but i crashed it and now i drive my mums barina which is really embrassing
but ill be getting another crx cause i had designed the enclosure for the stereo system which was installed by me
i had to remove the back seat to do this and i had 2 12" pioneer subs and 6x9s all flush on the sides of the boot plastic crap(you know those plastic lift things) taking up the back
then the amps are where the seat used to be
its like the sounds in the green crx in the hot4s mag in issue with the GSR with PPG paint.

pretty good i reakon for a do it yourself job!

what sounds u got in your car?

None right now...my plan is the following.

Flush floor from behind the front seats to the rear. 2X12" Somethings (i'm thinking Soundstream as their stuff kicks ass) flush mounted with amps flush mounted where the rear seat base would be. I'm going for a complete smooth, clean and flush look, although I may end up doing something similar to the set up in 2ENVY (the candy apple red airbrushed CRX).

I love that green CRX....well, it is a little over the top, but the interior is something similar to what I am looking at for mine. Next year the interior and turbo are first on my list!

what do u do for a job these mods cost heaps to do.
how much is the turbo kit?
u should do the interior first i reakon
that green crx even had leather floors are u going that far

another option for the sound system layout is having a false floor mounted in the back(removing the back seat)
and then the 2 12" mounted in the floor as well as a amp and cd changer
u may of seen it in a aussie car in hot 4s called 'dry martini'

This is the option I was trying to describe.

The CRX you describe was JDM69 which was owned by a guy called Jeff at Racing Spec. I bought my kit from them over in aussie, and yes, that was part of my inspiration for the stereo install.

If you are prepared to work hard, you can afford all the mods i'm doing....i'm 27, so i've probably got a head start! And I am definitely doing the interior first!

That's too bad, since 13secondcivic is selling his turbo setup right now. It's perfect for your ZC. I was gonna buy that one, but something came up.
