16" alloys (Very similar interior to the Mystic Green P11's)
Yeah it was a shame you couldn't make it G.
As Neil says,all the 5dr P11's had a one peice rear spoiler
& by the way Neil, I see your one of lucky few with the

Nismo believe it or not I have never noticed that about my car! I thought all Primeras were like that, why do i have the superior rear lights?

I have looked about and all the 97 models have clear rears and some 98 cars.

I'm still a bit puzzled as to why ???? but most GT's have orange
rear indicators & Si's & SRi's had the much nicer looking white ones,
(which I thought was the rule) but Kevins GT has got
white ones as standard, so that blows that theory
I've checked with Chassis no's & it must have been a batch/production
run, as some do & some dont !
Anyway the rear corner clusters are about £60 each
so I'm checking the breakers

I used to work at a Nissan dealer & have seen both
orange & clear on 96,97 & 98 cars ???

I know that you can no longer obtain the clear rear indicator lenses, only the orange ones from Nissan dealers. Therefore if you break a rear lense, you are going to have to buy two orange ones Having said that, Gurpal seems to be saying that you can still get the clear lenses from his local Nissan dealer. Maybe I was given bum information, or maybe your local dealer has some clear lenses in stock?

Assuming the info I was told is correct, if you want the clear ones, you'll either have to swap them with someone who is selling their Primera, or have a look at the local scrappy and see if they have a P11 they are breaking.

I too have never worked out why some P11's have clear rear lenses and some orange. It doesn't appear to be model related (I've seen most models with both clear and orange), nor whether it is 4 or 5 door. The only "trend" I have seen is that there is a higher percentage of late model (1998,1999) P11's with the orange lenses than on earlier models (1996,1997).

Seems odd that Nissan move to orange lenses just as other manufacturers are moving to clear lenses, so I don't think it can be a legal issue. Maybe the orange lenses are just cheaper to produce or something?

my local dealer doesn't have them in stock, but has said he has no problems in getting them for me if I want any.........

Well the cars about half done at present.

As for meeting up, Neil hasnt got back to me yet, but i suggest meeting in Newcastle simply because i cant get anytime off and go anywhere. Will let you know Anth.
