I must agree that I dont understand why you would be in that deep of water anyways. And if it was a must I would have taken the extra 5 mins to get out and stick the cone filter directly on the intake manifold. Sorry just my 1 and a half cent.

i was driving home from work and it was a straight down pour, i couldnt see 2 feet in front of me but i was trying to make it home cause my front bumper was supposed to be arriving at 3 o clock and then this huge puddle, fuck that a lake lol just came out of no where, it was like hitting a wall. my car shut off. then i was like fuck cause i looked out the window and i noticed that the water was half way up my door and it qwas starting to leak in. so i got out and pushed my car to safety but in the process of getting out the river just kinda flowed inside my car. my car was full of water. up to the seats. when i finally got it out of the lake i called my pops and he came down there. went to start the car and it felt like something is definetly frozen. then i pulled out the spark plug cap on the valve cover and that was full of oil a long with the other 3. so my car sits. on monday it is going to be torn apart to determine the damage. if its alot i will just get a long block. BTW someone asked what motor i had and it was a b16a1 with all type r internals. and someone asked about my job. i am a assisstant plant operator for Progress Energy. ill keep everyone updated.

well somewhat of some good news, i just took out my spark plugs and tried to start it to see if it would turn over and it did. shot some oil and water about 20 ft in the air. lol. i am letting it dry out till tomorrow and i am going to put some new plugs in and change the oil a couple times and see if she will get going again. hopefully i might luck out and not bent any valves or anything but i probally did. ill let you guys and girls know some more tomorrow after i try it
