Hehe. Entertaining television, eh mate? I pass those once in a while on telly, yes very uncomfortable. And that's why I'll never be a surgeon.

Blood? No problem.

Needles? Aaahh!! Deathly afraid I am (well not quite).

As for snakes , only small ones just because I'm afraid they'll climb into my orifices and bite my finger. Plus they're quick and too small to grab easily. Not the big ones, just the small ones. Strange, huh?

I'm horrified of snakes and spiders. Don't care about the snake venom, just the actual bite. I hate needles too. I'll get them, and they don't really scare me, but I hate them. I passed out once when I needed a blood test. You should try passing out sometime...then instead of just 1 sucker, you get 2, plus orange juice and cookies, while you recline in a lazy-boy with a damp facecloth on your forehead and fan blowing on you

Dentist needles scare me though. I've had 2 in my right bottom gum before, and one in the roof of my mouth (even worse!). They hurt like hell, you can't yell or say ow because then you move your mouth, screw up the needle and cause more pain, all you can do is make noises from your throat and shake your arms and legs madly. I hate the dentist altogether. She always tells me stuff I already know like brush 3 times a day and floss 3 times a day too. Not like it makes a difference.

Ever have a tooth clamp on before? They used this wierd thing to keep my mouth open which sucked, then they put this clamp down on my tooth uncomfortably tight. I had to have a baby tooth that wouldn't come out pulled before. The needle didn't work so I had to deal with the pain. Then the tooth crumbled (which hurt badly) and she sqeezed the nerves (which hurt 20 times more). Another time, while drilling a tooth, the drill slipped and my gum was drilled into a bit. Talk about a scream! Geez I hate the dentist.....

I am not afraid of them now, but when I was a little kid I was really afraid of them I would crawl in a corner in the doctor's office and refuse to let anyone near me. The doctor and my parents would get tired and I would go home without a shot.

I had to get have a blood test at Ascot hospital in Greenlane last month I honestly could not look, I felt faint when I saw my own blood in that Syringe, it was dark purple rather than red, which is what I thought it would look like, it was a first time for me though and I suppose if you have them reguarly, then they are allright

I don't mind blood either. I have no problem slicing myself open to take out a spinter or anything.
