if i wanted a evo 5 RHD w/mods and i can get it registered.ill pay the 30k.he did what he had to ,to get it titled.all the hard work is done,all u have to do is just register it in your own state

25k will proboly be the amount ull need to have a legal evo. I never did it so im not 100% sure. i looked at a couple import dealers and they said it would cost around 8k to convert and u have to pay for the car and ship it over here which would be about 14k or so for the car. and then theres also the waiting period for it.
i dont know if any of the things are true but the way dealers told me about it, it seems this way.

the importers do conversions on the car!? like LHD conversion? well i found a friend that could get me a evo 5 in the states and legal for 25k without conversions (i will have RHD)

well from what i heard it depends on the dealer. Some will and some won't.

yea id want a RHD car too and ill get one once i have the money.
but i dunno u should reseach and look around with some import dealers and see how much it will cost with them. maybe u can get a cheaper deal.

shipping the Evo 4-7 its gonna be hard, its jus goin to be like importing the Skyline GTR, jus that it costs ALOT less.

actually importing a gtr is easier..i think.... they have a company they just imports skylines.... well have have one for evo's too... but not 5's or 6's.... but yea costs...shipping....converting.... BlaH

hehe whts up Tyler, Im richard. Im not sure youd want to wait for me to import one. I just recently bought a Wrx.. best sub for an Evo... so itll be a couple of years. :

hey richard do u mind if i call u rich? well anyway im in no hurry since i am currently converting my mirage into a evo 5 and i just bought a turbo kit and got it installed so im not in a big hurry but good news! i found a evo 4 for 13k and shipping for the car from japan to la is only 1500! that a great deal a evo in the states for only 14,500 but that doesnt include epa or dot or licensing or registration. but still a great deal! just wanted to share that with u
