Thank you my friend! This new post will explain why there has been a lack of progress

After a 3 week wait, a lovely package came containing some wheels and a lovely Lexus IS200 yay!

I decided to go with 17" wheels and use super low profile tires instead of the 18s as I thought they looked a tad too big scale wise.

Keep your eyes peeled, more photos very very soon

Re: Fujimi Honda Integra DC2

Couldn't resist a quick mock up with the new wheels and low profile tires!

Now to sort the front suspension out

Re: Fujimi Honda Integra DC2

Small update:

Drilled Brembo brakes need a very small amount filed from the caliper to fit the smaller TE37s

Stock ride height!

How she sits with the final adjustments made, notice the slight negative camber at the front!

Now if only I could find where I put my Tamiya ings+1 wing set

Re: Fujimi Honda Integra DC2

Another small update:

Rear lower arm (?) modified (bent) to fit the lowered rear suspension

Wheels had their first light coat. Last time I sprayed the 18s they had far too many metallic flakes on the surface (The downsides to using automotive spray paint. Airbrush in a few months though so I shall soldier on!)

And finally, the rest of the chassis area parts were primed. I would really love some suggestions on what colours to paint the suspension and lower arms everyone? Brakes I'm thinking maybe white, or gold? Any suggestions on that would be great too! Also pictured is the custom exhaust I mentioned way earlier on!

Great update bro!! Love the color on those wheels... Looks fantastic!! Brakes... I like the idea of gold. Did you use heat to bend the rear suspension?

Re: Fujimi Honda Integra DC2

Chassis is usually black along with control arms. I guess you could make the lower control arms look anodized gold, red, or blue..
If you have too much flake, try a couple coats of flat clear before you put gloss over it.

Yeah I think I'm gonna go with gold!

Thank you for the kind words, I used my fingers and gently bent the arm bit by bit, not in one go Not heat at all, just need to take your time. The same method was used with the front lower arms too

Yeah I've heard of the flat clear first trick, the problem was me spraying automotive paint far too close and trying to get the wheels covered in one hit. I've since done a few layers and they look ten times better!

Thank you for the advice my friend

Great job so far. Post some more pics.

Cheerz
Type-R seats could be ordered in red with black carpets or black with red carpets...also, personally, I prefer the Recaros that come standard with the ITR's from Japan. Also, and this is a personal thing, 18's are wayyyy too big for a n Acura...

Nice bit of info there Scott thank you

I'm glad I waited for the 17s, but they just dont look the same as the 18s in terms of design. Ahwell!
