As a Virtual being I only know life on the internet, real friends are but a dream to me.

I'm desperately addicted to AF, but I've been off a bit more lately. I have been helping out my family.

I definately think that I could just run into one of the AFers and start up where we left off online. I know I'd be willing to meet up with some East Coasters from the US at some point just to see what they were like IRL... But that's another thread

Now, KB, I'll agree wholeheartedly on THAT one! I work on the computer all day too, so it's almost second nature that I meet people online, as well. But my problem is that I'm really shy and I find that I can be a bit more at ease here than in person.

Everyone here at my job thinks that I'm really stuck-up or something along those lines. But the one or two friends that I have know that I'm pretty fun to be around.

Well Nubian, to be honest, I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I only have like 5 people I call my friends. That's all I want. Everyone else is an acquaintance. But online, I have more friends than I can count. Which is cool, cause like they say in the New York Lotto, "Hey, you never know".
