What Turbo motor did you get the BlueBird or GTIR motor? If I where you. I would order the Larger Mustang Cobra MAF sensor and have JWT reprogram the ECU for that. If you have the GTIR motor Defenetly get the Cobra MAF sensor and JWT ECU programed for the 444cc injectors and Cobra MAF for when you do that you can safely run about 17PSI of boost and push about 275-280 HP.

Trust me. Been there done that its worth it

Damn you guys are lucky, not having to get a new ECU and all. To my knowledge a rwd sr20det is a long-block where the fwd version isn't. Also I can tell you the mounts are extremely different and I am sure there are countless other little differences that make it not worth your time. Check Heavythrottle.com, sometimes they have gti-r clips/motors.

Say what?

The AWD (FWD) DET is indeed a long block. It's actually a complete engine. We have to get a reprogrammed ECU. We use the same mounts.
