They have billet mounts now? Shit i got HCPs but the older ones. I got the 4 mount kit for 310 shipped. Did you get the 4 mount kit?? Yeh i like HCP alot. THey're up there with Hasport. Pretty good mounts!! About your lower radiator hose...did u cut it a lil? U might want to cut like an inch to fit right. |

it wasnt that it was too long/short, it was that i tried to use the teg hose, it fit on the thermostat housing, but was too big for the radiator, so i tried the civic hose, it fit on the radiator, but too small for the thermostat housing. I think i just ended up putting the smaller civic hose clamp on the integra hose and calling it a day.. if it leaks i'll have to get one of thsoe adjustable hose clamps.
I got the 3 mount kit, was $265 shipped, it comes with a billet drivers mount. Its brand new, when i actually bought it from ebay, the picture didnt show the billet mount and the guy emailed me and told me that he was sending me a "new design" billet drivers mount, so i was happy. And yeah, i did the swap pretty much by myself, i had my brother swing by to help me with the cherry picker, it would be kind of hard to set the engine in the bay with one person jacking the cherry picker up, going to the car to turn the engine, going back to the cherry picker, etc. etc. It wasnt hard at all to get the engine lined up, the mounts make it fit perfectlyl. Then it was all a matter of hooking up the wiring harness. It almost fit perfectly, i had to extend a couple sensor wires like the IAC, and stretch the harness a bit to get teh fan switch to work, since my harness was set up to use the Z6 fan switch which is on the thermostat housing as opposed to on the back of the block like the b18a1. |
