Opinions on paint job..

I'm not trying to make a show car.. I'm trying to make a go car.(t)

The CF "effect" on the paint will look even more cheese than just black.. I'm thinking in nice low light the whole middle of the car will look almost black, all the way up and over the rear. The interior is all black too, so it really blends well when looking in the windows.

i was gonna do this then i figured no cause it looks like your going for that fake carbon fiber look..... so maybe ill just have to get a carbon fiber roof

all i see is a red x. but my imagination tells me the scheme may not turn out so well.

how about the whole top half of the car black? The main reason i think it looks wierd is cause of the red around the edge of the door at the top.

If you want people to really be amazed by your B16 when you race them why dont y ou just paint the whole damn car including the CF hood in RED so it looks STOCK, oter people dont have to know u have a CF hood, only you do.......

Mainly because I really like the way the carbon fiber makes the car look. I don't need to suprise people.. Most probably just think the car is a beater with mis-matched paint. My exhaust looks stock.. Who even has a stock exhaust anymore?!
Where I live, lots of people are quite suprised by my car.. All the other compacts around here are just wings and chrome exhausts, and neon everything. A bunch of ricers. Everyone always asks if I've done anything to my car. "When ya gonna paint your black hood?!"



I'm doing the paint job, and you'll all get to see the results and bash on me.

the meets gonna be at my place here in grimsby, like everyones meeting here first hopefully, then were gonna go do something, maybe paint ball, maybe indoor indy, dunno yet, gonna get some ideas first and hold a vote and see what other ppl think, i'm gonna try mid to end of July, i'll do it on a saturday i have off
