Do you ever turn the car stereo OFF?

hehehhehehe, Yeah I do that sometimes. Open the windows and the sunroof and deliberatly stay in 3rd and 4th, even the Floyd has a hard time competeing with the mechanical symphoney occuring at 8,000rpm.

I prefer to have the stereo on most of the time. I like to put up the moonroof and let the music flow. Yes, I also like the attention, but that's secondary. I LOVE music, and I like to have it on all the time.

Although I did turn it off a couple times on my most recent car trips because I just needed to think and to relax to the sound of the tires on the pavement and the humming of the engine...

Nope, Iv never even been there.
I just noticed that on the news all they did was make a big thing about how it affected america. They ony spent about 5sec saying that 90% of the people on the flight came from Dominican Republic.

Its just my little effort to help make sure the forgotten get remembered.

I always have it on. I like to completely extinguish any noise from the outside, that way I concentrate on my driving better. If I'm talking to someone I just turn the volume down a little, but never really switch it off.

i usaly in the morning i have it low or some times off on the way into work but..... the ride home i need something to cool down after a agervating day of wotk so i put the alpine to work and get home with a slight ringing in my ears

Well...we just got the pod filter in the FTO, and there was NO WAY I was turning the stereo on!!!! It sounds truly awesome!! Now I can't wait to get mine - though it'll be a totally different noise, of course.

I don't have much of a sound system on S2000. You can't hear anything unless you turn it up really loud when you have the roof down. Also the engine sound makes sweeter sound than any cd does anyways.
