Re: Porsche 356A 1500 GS Speedster

It's been a while, but I'm back with this project.

I started on the chassis and interior. First I painted it all black. After that I added a mixture of grey and black interiorflocking. I also added red flocking on the red areas.

I painted the interiorparts in semigloss red (Revell) and added interiorflocking on the back of the seats. The seatframes are painted in wood look.

I forgot to paint the dashboard in silver, so I did that now. I clearcoated it and after drying I masked of the silver area and paint the semigloss red. I also added the decals and a drup of clear.

I had to choose between two steeringwheels. Original and sports. I choose the sports and crushed the original with my deskseat .... I painted it gloss white and added a 3D logo from Hobby Design.

Then I could assembly the interior.

Now I can finally start on the detailed engine!!!

Kris.

Re: Porsche 356A 1500 GS Speedster

Ok guys I started on the engine. The fittment is pretty poor but I managed to complete it. I painted it with several Aclad paints and I added sprakplug wires and wirelooms. I also added aluminium tubes on the exhaust.

I also did some work on the body. I added all the ligths and bumpers. I also put the chassis inside the body. I had to trim a lot of places to fitt it right. It's still not really perfect but I was happy with it without breaking anything (yet). The bumperbraces holding the chassis in place. That is pretty weak so I added some extras to give it more strength.

The hood and thrunklid doesn't fitt really well and are totally not moveable. I'll put them just loose on the body.

Now it need just a few parts like windows and numberplates before finish it. I hope it's completed before christmas.

Kris.
