See it has a camera mounted at various positions on the runs so will we be seeing from the car action soon?

The offerings from Instagram are a bit thin:

AutoCar's coverage - specifically this photo - makes up for it though:

Click on that to get a little weak in the knees.

Stuck in traffic - can't say I'd mind the waiting.

Photographer Tim Scott of FluidImages forwarded me this pair of interior photos he snapped of #01R.

Please, if you intend to reshare this pair via another website include the proper attribution to Tim Scott along with a link to his website.

My friends from UltimateCarPage.com were there too and have shared the most comprehensive gallery from yesterday's event with 15 shots of our beloved Le Mans winner. Click the photo below to see the rest:

Re: So it's the 20th of March somewhere...

Having never been to FOS before do the cars run up the hill on each day of the event? Basically, am I likely to see 01R (and any others) if I buy one of the cheaper Friday tickets?

Re: So it's the 20th of March somewhere...

HI Paul, and welcome

Friday they do run up the hill, but they aren't always timed and some of the 'stars' wont be there. It's certainly quieter [and cheaper ] on the Friday due to the lack of 'stars', so access to the cars and photo opportunitys are easier to come by.

I usually do Thursday and Friday, however this year I intend to do all 4 days seeing as its going to be a special one

We [as in other AF.com F1 nuts] normally try for a meet up on the Friday, either for a Beer or next to a Mclaren to have a chat, so if you are up for it too, send me a PM and we'll take itt from there

Re: So it's the 20th of March somewhere...

Thanks for the info. On the one hand I like the idea of it being slightly quieter on the Friday and hopefully better access but at the same time I would be gutted not to see the star(s) run up the hill. Unfortunately I can only afford to go for one day.

It would be good to meet up and put some faces to names. It's strange, I've been lurking around here for the last year when I've had some free time, trying to get up to speed with the history of all cars and almost feel like I know some of you because of all the posts I've read!

From the PistonHeads report - you probably could have guessed:

Another from Sam Moores Photography:

And slightly off topic - you can be a bit more ambitious off the start line when the race car you are driving isn't priceless.
