My only suggestion would be a very fine black line to seperate both color, but it's not my model !
I also like the cow look seat, very funny and original.

I have to stick to the original drawing but i also would have made a black or ither color line.

Re: VW T1 Delivery Van 'LeMorris' Custom

I first started on the chassis. I painted it black, did a little wheatering and added the wheels. I also added a metal tube on the exhaust.

Also added the chrome body parts.

I only need to add the licenseplates, so it's 99% finished now

Re: VW T1 Delivery Van 'LeMorris' Custom

I have few questions for the maker of this kit:

- Did you apply the primer and the Tamiya TS by airbrush ? What primer did you use ?

- According to the date of your posts you have painted the Tamiya TS paint and the next day you applied the Zero 2k clear, right ? Shouldn't you wait longer before applying a clear over Tamiya TS lacquers ? I read many times that for example people using Tamiya TS 13 clear that they should wait at least 1 month before applying any clear so the clear wouldn't break when the color coat is still "drying" or "gasing out". Or is it a rule only for the Tamiya TS 13 clear ?

Thanks !!!

Hello keveuh,

I used Mr. Hobby 1200 surfacer from spraycan and the Tamiya TS Pearl White also from spraycan. No airbrush work yet. When this was dry, I airbrushed the Pearl Orange with Zero Paints. A few thin coats untill it was right.
After 2 days I sprayed the Zero 2K Clear on it without any problem.
Tamiya TS 13 is pretty agressive clear. It eats your decals or paint when you use it not right. I used it always before I stepped to the airbrushworld, but I had not much problems with that clear. I always used tamiya primer, paint and clear and painted a car body in a week and then let it gas out before I start polishing the paint.

The photos on my updates are made earlier. I always wait with any update untill I have enough to show

Kris.
