Maybe "Aventador" is so kind to measure both models for us.

@Aventador
Nice start, i like the colour youīve chosen.
I compared the size of the real car,
Wheelbase: 2746 mm / 108.1 in
Overall Length: 4806 mm / 189.2 in
Width (across body): 1944 mm / 76.5 in
Width (including mirrors): 2227 mm / 87.7 in

Can you give us the same measurements from the model, so we can determine the real scale? Wheelbase and overall length most important.

The Aston looks great!

Too bad the Aston Logos are not actually metal transfer stickers. They are like metal decals, and you must glue them on yourself.

Another fail by Hobby Design. Good luck trying to glue on a badge designation, like S600. With metal transfers, at least the "sticky" sets the script in place.

Bentley is 18 CM long; that works out to 1/27 scale. It's 3/4" too short for 1/24 scale

@ZoomZoomMX-5
Thatīs really bad news. So you bought the Bentley already?

@Aventador
Those emblems are looking great, especially the wings.
Did you take some clear black for that effect or just some kind of washing?

I saw the dimensions of the model posted by an Ebay seller. Which account for the reason the Bentley looks the same size as the much-smaller-in-real-life Aston Vantage.

I'll get the Vantage for sure. What bugs me most is that sometimes Welly is honest about the scale, but lately they have not. Models like the Dodge Charger, Chevy Tahoe, Packard Caribbean, and the Bentley are all 1/27th scale but Welly markets them as 1/24 It is a shame that Welly is so inflexible with "box scale".

Re: 1/24 aston martin v12 vantage

Thanks for the photos; Bentley looks closest to 1/25 scale...not as bad as I had thought, and at least it is longer than the Aston Martin.
