Has anyone gotten one yet or is it still in planning.

They told me they were in the casting process toward the end of April and they would be shipping soon.

Haven't got my shipping notice yet so.....

The gmail account is Chow's new e-mail as I believe he said his old yahoo account was compromised by hackers? It's a legit e-mail from Chow (APM).

I e-mailed him the other day since he quoted me a mid-to-late April release date and this is what he said: "they are coming out soon.... we are sorting the kits this moment."

Hopefully they'll be out real soon.

What I heard is they're going to be shipped by May 10.
The pre-order is closed last weekend.
Maybe APM's whole-salers are still taking pre-orders.

Re: APM Ferrari 458 GT2 1/24th

I was able to talk to Chow and APM is alive and well. He said no more orders would be taken on the 458 GT2 until after May 10th, the release date. Based on the pictures and other kits they did this should be a great kit. Studio 27 and Pattos Place both did several decals for this car already.

Yes, just talked to Chow on the phone too, confirmed they are still in the process of making the decals...and no more order accepted from him...

Re: APM Ferrari 458 GT2 1/24th

This kit is now shipping from APM. A little expensive but it looks great in the photos. I think it has more parts than their other 1/24th kits.

Great to hear! Did they (APM) contact you or did you e-mail them? I think I'll shoot Chow an e-mail to make sure.

Rather than setting a 'release' sales date they took pre orders until all 50 were gone, plus you got a better price with pre order...but that point is moot now.

Re: APM Ferrari 458 GT2 1/24th

To all guys here:

the ebay ID, apmodelco is hacked by someone, it is no longer control by APM.... APM has tried their best to recover it from Ebay, but it never works....

APM has created a new ebay, apmodel..... it is for your information.

That's just stupid selling technique. Why nobody said this before? I thought they will be available at retail on May 10th? Whatever.
