I hate unpredictable animals. Especially if it can hurt you. If I know what's gonna happen, it doesn't seem near as bad as if it's gonna scare the bejeepers outta me.

I hate the phuq'rs too . . .

Spiders scare me too . . . ever since I was a kid.

I know how it started too, I just won't get into it . . .

I found that I liked to vaccum spiders up into my mom's canister vac with the hose and one of those crevice tool thingy's attached to the end . . . I never felt comfortable that they were dead, cuz technically they would just land in a pile of dust at the bottom of the bag, right? Then there was a chance that they could find there way back out through the hose . . . and probably while I was sleeping, cuz I don't think those bastards sleep . . .

So I started vacummin up stacks of pennies right after I sucked up the spider . . . I wish I could see them getting smashed with pennies in the bag but I couldn't . . . oh well

Hey man i can relate im a total puss when it comes to spiders too. i scream like a woman whenever i see one. and trust me no one understands the paranoia associated with arachnaphobia. and it can be a bitch when you live in a house with lots of spiders, like i do. its nothing bad to be affraid of natural things, its when you start fearing stuff like stuffed animals, and clowns.
Peace......

true, but actually the suspence of falling could be scarier than actually hitting the ground.

Dunno about you, but I'd rather fall and not hit the ground. Maybe you'd rather hit the ground without falling....

I wish I could feel the same way you guys do. I don't have any phobias that I can think of. Maybe a slight fear of heights, but other than that, nothing. How does it feel to have arachnaphobia? Is it really that bad? My friend's boyfriend has the biggest fear of spiders. And for the life of me, I just cannot understand why. Is it the way they look? How they crawl? What is it? I also have a friend who's a bit claustrophobic. All I can do is poke fun at him. I know it's mean, but I'm just curious as to how it feels to have a serious phobia. Phobias are one thing, but clowns are another. Those things are just freaky. Anybody ever see the movie IT? <shudders>
