when u say you used a nail polish, what kind/brand, also what special treatments did you use? primers, thinners etc, i love the colour

i didnt use a brand that is well known it came from a discount shop.most big companies make colour change nail polish
you need to have a base coat of black,i didnt use primer mainly because i didnt want the painted surface becoming to thick,i did put on 2 coats of tamiya black (spray can)
i thinned it with nail polish remover (non accetate) you need to have a really thinned mixture as it dries very quickly,it was then covered with tamiyia clear (bottle) it seems to have worked, there may be other ways to use nail polish .the colour range is amazing hope that helps

i have lived for 22years in New Zealand + 23years in Australia we have always called them Yank tanks
