HEY! oh wait.... :o

Jay: What looks great? the pics of my model? my model? the finished models you've seen?

I went to the Model Box (my local model shop) today to get some help on putting the wheels on. That and to figure out why Revell tells you not to glue in the struts.

wow watch my post count soar!

As I look at my interior and engine bay, I feel like my car is pretty bad with plain tan interior and a botchy engine bay :o . Yours looks so nice... Very detailed. Oh well, I guess mines ok for a first . Pics coming soon... I hope (my friend forgot her digital camera today... girls...).

I've decided to purchace a Tamiya Supra w/ engine detail for my next model. Might do it some kind of blackish/grey mettalic or mica blue? Can any one help me find that blackish/grey metallic?

Pic 6: The completed interior and suspension with the body resting on top. Keep in mind that the whole car is bright red, no orange or yellow. The red is really like you see around the back wheel. The oranging (not a word, i know!) came from the digicam.

Bear in mind that the body doesn't have a spoiler, hood or bumper (front or rear). They're still drying.

Is it a Toyota color you've seen on a Supra? You can dig around at www.toyota.co.jp; they still have the Supra in their line-up in Japan, so you could probably find their factory colors there.

Then find that color and match it I guess.

Man, I really gotta step up my Japanese. Of course, I learned a long time ago that if you put your mouse over a link, the addy is shown at the bottom of the screen and conviently that's most always in English. That and babel fish at www.altavista.com

P.S. Jay... Found it!

That really looks good! Engine has a real factory look, whereas I have seen many of these kits look very toy like!

Finished!

Pics soon to follow. I'm going to try "pull a LauBak" and get a realistic background, but it'll prolly turn out craptacular. Pics will most likely arrive tomorrow.

Pics Ahoy! Here is my attempt at "LauBaking" (that is attempting to give the car realistic scale). I failed.
